The financial group Profireal grew by 24 % last year

Having successfully entered Bulgaria, Profireal Group launched its operations also in Romania in 2007

Pardubice, 10th January, 2008. In the course of the year 2007, the financial group Profireal Group provided credits and loans at a total value of CZK 3.63 billion to its clients. Compared to the year 2006, when the volume of granted credits had represented CZK 2.93 billion, Profireal Group thus enjoyed an almost 24 % growth. The total volume of funds lent by the financial group Profireal Group to its clients since the year 2000 has represented nearly CZK 15 billion.

In 2007, altogether 75 thousand clients negotiated a loan or credit with us, with the average credit amount being CZK 48,000. “We are particularly happy about the results in Poland, where we have achieved a 38 % growth. Despite its specifics, the Polish market is an extremely perspective one, and we expect it will become the main driving element for the division Profireal as a whole”, David Chour, member of the Profireal Group SE’s Board observed on the results.

Profireal provided the largest value of loans and credits in the Czech Republic, where it has been selling consumer credits since the year 2000. The output in the last year grew by 19 %, with the total volume of provided loans and credits reaching CZK 1.97 billion. Profireal recorded an 11 % growth in Slovakia, on the whole lending CZK 830 million to its clients there. In Poland, Profireal grew by 38 %, with the total volume of provided loans and credits exceeding CZK 735 million. The first year was also successful for the Bulgarian subsidiary, which offered borrowings to its clients at an equivalent value of CZK 96 million. AsDavid Chour added: “Profireal provided the first consumer credits also in Romania, which has thus become a fifth country that our company entered”.

Profireal Group is a multinational financial group operating in five countries. The division Profireal, which from mid-February will be using the name Profi Credit, deals in providing consumer credits. The division Profidebt deals with retail claims business. It belongs among the biggest companies operating in this area in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It is a partner of banks and large business companies, such as GE Money Bank, Živnostenská banka, Raiffeisenbank, Pozemkový fond ČR (a Czech land fund), Správa kreditných kariet (a credit card administrator), Tatrabanka, Poštová banka or Slovak Telecom.
