Profireal Holding has changed into a European company Profireal Group SE

Pardubice, 7th January 2008. At the end of the last year, the company Profireal Group SE was incorporated in the Dutch Companies Register in Amsterdam.

The foundation of Profireal Group SE thus rounded off the changes through which the financial group had been coming along the year 2007. “We decided to transform the asset structure of the company Profireal Group into a traditional holding structure, whereas the Netherlands-based company Profireal Group SE became the parent company. On 21st December, we successfully entered the new company in the Companies Register,” David Chour, member of the Profireal Group SE’s Board commented upon the changes.

The objective of the changes has been to achieve a more straightforward structure and to confirm the financial stability that will bring the financial group Profireal Group into a better position for negotiations with the financial partners. The change of the structure and the company seat pursues yet another goal, i.e. to prepare the group for a public issue of shares – IPO, which represents a medium-term strategic objective of the financial group Profireal Group. “For the group, IPO means a possibility to obtain additional financial resources to expand our activities into additional countries,” specified David Chour.

Profireal Group is a multinational financial group operating in five countries. The division Profireal, or Profi Credit from February onwards respectively, provides credits and loans, both for the individual and the corporate clientele. It has been expanding substantially in the most recent six years. After launching its subsidiary in Slovakia earlier in 2001, first credits were sold also in Poland in the year 2004, to be followed by Bulgaria at the end of the year 2006, and, in December 2007, first borrowings were provided in Romania.

The division Profidebt deals in retail claims trading. Besides the Czech Republic, it has its affiliated company also in Slovakia. Profidebt has been operating in the Czech market since March 2005. Among its strongest business partners belong large financial companies, such as GE Money Bank, Živnostenská banka, Tatrabanka, Raiffeisenbank or Pozemkový fond ČR.

In the course of the year 2007, the division Profireal provided loans and credits at a face value of CZK 3.63 billion. The volume of outstanding debts traded by division Profidebt exceeded CZK 2 billion towards the end of the year 2007.
