Profireal Group made a profit of CZK 150 million last year 

Pardubice 26. 6. 2008. According to the international accounting standards, the financial group Profireal Group achieved a consolidated profit after taxation of CZK 152 million in the year 2007. This result excels the more if compared with the year 2006, when the financial group had performed with a loss of almost CZK 50 million. Also the gross assets of the financial group Profireal Group grew by more than 40 per cent, attaining a volume of CZK 4.1 billion in the year 2007 as compared to CZK 2.9 billion reported as of the end of the year 2006.

“We have managed to significantly increase the yields in all companies our group encompasses, which has principally contributed to our profit growth. Total revenues in the year 2007 exceeded the amount of CZK 1.5 billion. Compared to the year 2006, when the total revenues represented less than CZK 1 billion, we are talking about a 60 % growth here”, added David Chour, General Manager of the financial group Profireal Group.

Division PROFI CREDIT, which specialises in granting credits to private persons and entrepreneurs, has contributed most significantly to the group’s total profit. The division made a consolidated profit of CZK 105 million last year. The most remarkable contributors were the companies PROFI CREDIT Czech with CZK 117 million and PROFI CREDIT Slovakia with CZK 57 million. On the other hand, the Polish, Bulgarian and Romanian companies finished the last year with a total loss of CZK 69 million. “We have been operating in these markets for a very short time yet. We expect that our companies will be profitable here in three years at the latest”, added David Chour.

Division PROFIDEBT, which specialises in administering and collecting overdue debts, attained a total profit of CZK 47 million in the year 2007.

Division PROFI CREDIT, which operates in the Czech, Slovak, Polish, Bulgarian and Romanian markets, provided its clients with credits at a total volume of CZK 3.63 billion in the year 2007. Compared to the year 2006, when the amount of granted credits represented CZK 2.93 billion, it has thus recorded a growth of almost 24 %. Division PROFIDEBT, which operates in the Czech and Slovak markets, was administering outstanding debts at a general volume of CZK 2 billion as of the end of the year 2007.
