Profireal Group has earned CZK 190 million

Prague 19. 11. 2008. According to the international accounting standards, the financial group Profireal Group has recorded a consolidated after-tax profit of CZK 190 million for the first nine months of the year 2008. The growing profit has been contributed to especially by the increasing revenues achieved by the financial group Profireal Group as a whole. For the three quarters of the year 2008, the total revenues of Profireal Group have reached a CZK 1.5 billion volume, whereas they represented CZK 1.6 billion for the full year 2007.

“In the nine months of this year, we have attained almost the same revenues, and an even higher profit, than in the whole year 2007. We made a profit of CZK 150 million back in the year 2007”, David Chour, Chairman of the Profireal Group SE Board commented upon the successful performance figures achieved.

The division PROFI CREDIT, which operates in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania, has provided credits at a total face value of CZK 2.88 billion CZK to its clients in the first nine months of the year 2008 alone, which represents an annual growth of 7 %. The commensurable figure for the same period of the year 2007 was CZK 2.68 billion. “Our company PROFI CREDIT in Bulgaria did extremely well, providing almost four times more credits to its clients than over the same period of the preceding year. We are also happy about the take-off of our Romanian subsidiary”, added David Chour.

At the end of September, the division PROFIDEBT was managing outstanding debts at a nominal value of almost CZK 2.6 billion. Among the key customers of the division PROFIDEBT are some big financial corporations, such as e.g. GE Money Bank, Živnostenská banka, Česká spořitelna, Tatrabanka, Raiffeisenbank or Pozemkový fond ČR (the Czech Land Fund).

Profireal Group is a multinational financial group operating in five countries. The division PROFI CREDIT deals with providing credits to private persons and entrepreneurs. The division PROFIDEBT deals with the retail claims business. It operates in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia.
