PROFI CREDIT grew by nearly a fourth in the first half-year

Pardubice, 25th July, 2007. The first half of the year 2007 has brought a 23 % growth in the value of provided loans and credits for the financial group Profireal Group. Over the first half-year, Profireal provided altogether 37 thousand credits and loans to its clients at a total nominal value of CZK 1.83 billion. The volume of loans and credits offered in the same period of the previous year represented an amount of CZK 1.48 billion. Employee loans have proved to be the best selling product, contributing 97 % to the overall performance. The remaining three percents fell on trading and entrepreneurial loans.

“We are very pleased about the growing value of loans in Poland and in Slovakia. Compared to the first half of the previous year, both companies have achieved growths of over 25 %. Another positive finding is that an increasing number of clients have been using our loans repeatedly. This means that they are satisfied with our services. In the Czech Republic, where we have been established for the longest time, a whole fifth of the clients have made repeated borrowings with us, there are even a few ones who have been drawing a tenth loan with us already”, David Chour, Chairman of the Profireal Group Board commented on the results.

Profireal has again been most successful in the Czech Republic. The value of provided loans and credits in the first half-year reached CZK 934 million, which represented a 19 % growth. In light of growth alone, an even better performance was achieved by the Polish subsidiary of Profireal, which grew by 26 % in the first half of the year 2007, on the whole granting loans worth CZK 394 million. Virtually at the same rate, more specifically by 25.7 %, grew the value of loans and credits provided in Slovakia, reaching a level of CZK 481 million.

“We have been continuously modifying our products, too. At the start of June we extended the maturity of employee loans to up to 48 months and we launched a totally new product, a loan with a 12-month maturity, which is being offered to our clients on much more favorable conditions now. Another novelty is the pledge-warranted loan, with which the client can reach for a loan worth as much as is the value of the pledged real property”, David Chour introduced the product changes.

The financial group Profireal Group operates in the area of granting loans and credits, both to the individual and corporate sectors. It has seen a remarkable expansion over the recent five years. After the opening of its branch in Slovakia in the year 2001, there followed a launch of loan-selling activities in Poland in the year 2004 and, at the end of the year 2006, Profireal provided its first loan also in Bulgaria. The division Profidebt, which belongs in the financial group Profireal Group and deals with surrenders and administration of retail claims, is active in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia. The owner of the financial group Profireal Group is David Beran, a Pardubice-based financier.

Since 2004, Profireal has been a member of the association SOLUS that administrates a register of debtors, through which the members may verify the creditworthiness of their loan applicants. Profireal was initiated into the Czech Leasing and Financial Association in April 2007.
