PROFI CREDIT Czech, a.s. achieved profit of CZK 262 million in 2007

Pardubice 15 April 2008. PROFI CREDIT Czech, a.s. achieved pre-tax profit of CZK 262 million last year. The achieved profit was higher by 28 % in comparison with the year 2006. The positive result primarily stems from increased revenues, which increased by 24 % year-on-year and reached CZK 1.12 billion in 2007. 

“The financial stability and good financial results of PROFI CREDIT in the Czech Republic reflect the positive year-on-year growth trend of the value of extended credits, which has been around 20% in recent years. Our target is to maintain the growth in the following years,” said Ing. Filip Souček, Managing Director of PROFI CREDIT Czech, a.s. 

Last year PROFI CREDIT extended credits to its clients at the aggregate nominal value of CZK 1.97 billion, which in comparison with 2006 represents an increase by 19.5%. Almost 40,000 contracts were concluded last year and the average credit line was in the region of CZK 65,000. 

Since 2004 PROFI CREDIT Czech, a.s. has been a member of SOLUS, which administers the non-bank register of debtors and its members may check the credit ability of credit applicants in the register. In April 2007 PROFI CREDIT joined the Czech Leasing and Financial Association. 

PROFI CREDIT Czech is a part of the multinational financial Profireal Group, operating in five countries. The companies of the PROFI CREDIT division focus on granting of credits both to individual persons and businesses. In the past six years Profireal Group has been expanding significantly. After opening its branch in Slovakia in 2001, the sale of credits commenced in Poland in 2004, in Bulgaria at the end of 2006 and in December 2007 the PROFI CREDIT division contracted the first loans in Romania.
