Profi Credit has granted its first loan in Romania

Pardubice 31. 12. 2007. Profi Credit IFN SA, a member of the financial group Profireal Group, provided the first loan in the Romanian market in the course of the December. Having successfully obtained the licence from the Romanian National Bank earlier in October, Profi Credit has thus factually launched its business activity in Romania.

“We have appropriated the first loan to a female client in Bucharest. It is an Employee Credit worth RON 7,416, with the repayment period being 24 months. We have so officially started the activity of our first regional head office in Bucharest. In the course of the next year, we would like to provide loans to our clients at a total volume of RON 13 million,” Tomáš Rosenberger, Chief Executive Officer for Profi Credit IFN SA unveiled the details pertaining to the first credit in Romania.

The company Profi Credit has its seat in Bucharest. The clients are invited to apply for Employee Credits at present, with the Entrepreneurial Credit product for legal entities already being in its preparatory phase. Profi Credit markets the credits through its proprietary business network of credit advisers. “We have 20 credit advisers at present, but we expect the trade network will have totalled 1,000 credit advisers by the end of year 2008,” added Tomáš Rosenberger.

Profi Credit IFN SA belongs to the multinational financial group Profireal Group that operates in five countries – the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania. The main activity pursued by Profireal Group is represented by providing loans and credits. In the year 2006, the group Profireal Group provided loans and credits at a total volume of EUR 110 million to its clients.
