Profireal Group earned SKK 122 million in the first half-year

Bratislava, 11. 9. 2008. Measured by the international accounting standards, the financial group Profireal Group recorded a consolidated after-tax profit of SKK 122 million (EUR 4 million) in the first half of the year 2008. We have managed to maintain the same growth rate we experienced in the course of the previous year, which we were closing with a profit representing SKK 183 million (EUR 6 million),David Chour, Chairman of the Profireal Group SE Board, glosed upon the profit figures. 

This positive result has been contributed to especially by the rising revenues of the financial group as a whole. In the first half of the year 2008, Profireal Group has reached a total revenue of SKK 1,2 billion (EUR 40 million), which represents an almost 25% growth compared to the same period of the year 2007. Profireal Group reported a total revenue amounting to SKK 2,1 billion (EUR 69 million) for the full year 2007. 

Division PROFI CREDIT, which operates in the Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania, has provided its clients with credits at a total nominal value of SKK 2,22 billion (EUR 73,7 million) in the first half of the year 2008. Our company PROFI CREDIT based in Bulgaria has performed exceedingly well, providing its clients with the same volume of credits in this first half-year alone as in the whole of the preceding year 2007, added David Chour. 

At the end of the 1st half-year, division PROFIDEBT was managing outstanding debts at a nominal value of almost SKK 2,9 billion (EUR 96,3 million). In the Czech Republic, PROFIDEBT cleared a 2 billion (EUR 66,4 million) bar towards the end of the 1st half-year and it has so ranked amongst the biggest companies operating in the Czech market. 

Profireal Group is a multinational financial group that operates in five countries. Its division PROFI CREDIT deals with providing credits both to the private persons and to the entrepreneurs, while the division PROFIDEBT deals with the retail claims business. Among the most important customers of the division PROFIDEBT are big financial companies, such as GE Money Bank, Živnostenská banka (Trades Bank), Tatrabanka, Raiffeisenbank or Pozemkový fond ČR (Czech Land Fund).
